-How to stay true to you while dressing for an interview-
They say first impressions matter and we know that they do, but there are no set standards on what women have to wear. We want to help you ace those first impressions while still feeling like YOU. Check out our tips for interview outfits and you will no longer have to compromise on your confidence or individuality!
1 PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE - THE ORIGINAL
The original black suit is great for professional interviews. You can wear pants and a jacket, or you opt for a skirt and blazer. We’ve paired our suit with black booties but don’t be afraid to match with flat shoes if that’s your style. If you love jewellery, add a piece that gives your outfit some individuality, Be yourself!
2. PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE - THE CLASSIC
The blue suit is a classic and is always a good pick for professional interviews. Pairing it with a blouse will make it the ultimate classic. However, you can also go for a more modern look and wear it with a simple shirt beneath while buttoning-up the double-breasted jacket. We’ve completed this modern look with dark brown semi-high boots but you can easily wear your favorite flats to the interview.
3. PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE - THE OLD SCHOOL
The pin-striped suit is an oldie but definitely a goldie that's having a come-back. If you want to stick to the classic navy color for your interview but still want to mix it up you should definitely go for it. We kept the look simple with a white blouse and black loafers. Do you feel uncomfortable in blouses? Don’t feel like you have to wear one. Opt for a turtleneck or cozy sweater that fits your personal style. If you select materials that look high-quality, this can be just as professional as a blouse.
4. PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE - THE BOLD
If you're not one for the classics you can always opt for a more modern look. You can reinvent this professional look by adding pin-stripes on navy which gives it a little retro touch. We spiced up this outfit with our saffron blouse, but as always - wear your favorite basic shirt or sweater to complete the look. Be different - be bold - be you.
5. SEMI-PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ATTIRE
For semi-professional business attire, jackets are not always required. if you don’t feel like yourself in a jacket, feel free to take it off as soon as you sit down or opt for not wearing one at all.
